Exam Scheduling and Cancellation Policies

Scheduling your Exam

Upon completing the registration process, candidates are given 365 days to prepare for and take their CIBP™ examination. It is the candidate's responsibility to schedule their exam within the timeframe that ensures access to preferred examination windows. We strongly advise candidates to secure an examination window no later than 30 days before the expiration of the aforementioned 365-day period. Any requests for exam scheduling within 20-30 days before the exam window expiry will not be accommodated. If a candidate seeks to schedule an examination after the expiry of the 365-day period, they can do so by paying a nominal fee on their myIBCA dashboard.

Rescheduling your Exam

To reschedule the exam, candidates must log in to their myIBCA dashboard 72 hours before their scheduled examination. Rescheduling in less than 72 hours before their scheduled exam will require them to pay USD 50 from their myIBCA dashboard.

Reappearing for the Exam

If a candidate does not attend the scheduled exam or fails to pass their CIBP™ exam, they will be required to pay a nominal fee of USD 50 from their myIBCA dashboard to reappear for the exam. Candidates can apply to reappear after their examination results are published on their myIBCA dashboard.

Canceling your Exam

To cancel a scheduled CIBP™ exam, candidates must log in to their myIBCA account at least 72 hours before the scheduled date. Please note that after canceling the exam, candidates will be required to pay a fee of USD 50 to reschedule the exam for a later date. If candidates want to reschedule their CIBP™ exam for another date within the 365-day validity period, they need to click on the 'Reschedule the exam’ button when logged in to their myIBCA dashboard.

Reapplying for the Exam

If a candidate voluntarily cancels the scheduled examination appointment, they can immediately reapply to schedule the exam for a later date from their myIBCA dashboard by paying a fee of USD 50.

Failing to Schedule the Exam

If a candidate fails to schedule the exam within 365 days, their exam window will expire. To schedule the exam after the expiry, they will need to pay a nominal fee of USD 50. The payment can be made by logging in to their myIBCA dashboard.
