Identification Policy

To ensure the proctor admits you in the exam zone, you will be required to carry one Identification proof that you submitted while scheduling your CIBP™ exam. The ID must be original, valid, and non-expired, and should have your photo and signature.

List of acceptable IDs

1. Government-issued driver's license
2. Passport
3. Military ID
4. State/country ID card
5. Employee/school ID

It is important to note, the original ID should be presented to the proctor on-screen during the ID verification process on exam day and the full name should match the name in your myIBCA account. If the name in your ID does not match the myIBCA account, the proctor will not let you in.

If you appear for the exam with a photocopy or scan of your ID, an expired ID, or a different ID than what you submitted at the time of scheduling the exam, the proctor will not approve your entry to the exam zone. No exceptions will be made to IBCA’s identification policy under any circumstances.
